At long last work to repair the front elevation of the building will commence on Monday 20th November 2017.

During the work we unfortunately will be unable to use two of our consulting room and will once again relocate some of our appointments to Cohen's Pharmacy on Friars Lane, some of you will be aware of this process from when we had to relocate over 12 months ago.

We will keep as many of surgeries operational from the practice premises and when you make your appointment with the GP you will be informed of the location of your consultation.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and at this stage we aware of how long the work will take, but unfortunately these are essential repairs which cannot wait until we move the new premises at Alfred Barrow.

Thank you for your patience

If you wish to register with the practice please telephone or call in and one of the reception staff will be able to help.

The receptionist will explain the procedure to you, provide you with the relevant paperwork, and book an appointment for you to see one of our nurses or our healthcare assistant.

Before your appointment, you will be asked to fill out some forms about your current and previous health conditions, the medications you take and the details of your previous practice.

You will also be required to provide proof of your identity and address, in the form of photographic & a houshold utility bill or bank statement.  You are also required to bring proof of any medications you are currently taking to the appointment.

Whilst considering registering with the surgery you may want to check if you live within our practice area click here to open our electronic catchement area tool.

However, if you live outside the catchment area you are still able to register with the Surgery but you will not be eligable for home visits. You will need to contact 111  should you require this service during our core hours.

It can take several weeks for us to receive your medical records from your previous practice, so the more detail you can give us the better.

Once your registration is complete you will be informed of your named GP.  This however does not mean you can only see this particular Doctor. You have the right to express a preference to see a particular practitioner, and whilst staff will always do their best to accomodate patient preferences, this might not always be possible. We will always offer alternatives, and compromises may need to be reached on occasions.

Medical treatment is available from the date of registration.
